Colin Nun’s work at the Dennis Tourbin straddles language and mark making, imagery and words, in a way that shows that neither is ever separate of the other.
Vollick is a multi disciplinary artist who showed some newer works in the Dennis Tourbin space at NAC: his photos are evocative and I found I couldn’t stop thinking about them, so here’s some of those thoughts that the work inspired.
Tony Calzetta and Gabrielle de Montmollin have turned a space in downtown Welland into a combined studio, gallery and living space, and I visited them to see their artwork and their role in shifting the community to one where culture is more prevalent.
