Another in my ongoing Artist Feature series, Joel Smith exhibited a number of works at the Mahtay Cafe in downtown St. Catharines that are as much part of his life as they are images of his city.
Colin Nun’s work at the Dennis Tourbin straddles language and mark making, imagery and words, in a way that shows that neither is ever separate of the other.
Vollick is a multi disciplinary artist who showed some newer works in the Dennis Tourbin space at NAC: his photos are evocative and I found I couldn’t stop thinking about them, so here’s some of those thoughts that the work inspired.
