An exhibition that seems banal, boring and not at all appropriate when talking about culture. But after an amazing walk through and talk with Curator Marcie Bronson, the show took on a very different and very interesting flavour.

Geoff Farnsworth was one of the first artists I met here in Niagara, and his portraits are among some of the finest I’ve seen, combining both a strong sense of his sitters and a distinctive style that is both intense and yet seems to enhance the portrait. Another of my ongoing Artist Features.
An exhibition at NAC that challenges the idea of space, place and time: “time stands still in travel” was an idea that I brought with me into this show, and the works are as diverse as they are resonant about ‘travelling.’
