Recovery, an exhibition at 13th Street Gallery, features works by Cynthia Chapman, Geoff Farnsworth and Matt Behan: but the first two’s works engage in a dialogue that is the focus of my piece here.
The latest exhibition at 13th Street Gallery features the work of Henry Saxe and Joseph Drapell, who have positioned themselves ‘outside’ some of the dominant art movements of the last half century. I offer a response to that assertion, as well as the works on display.
MABO (Matthias Bork) is the lastest artist to be the focus of our ongoing Artist Features at the Sound. HIs work is vibrant and engaging, and all about colour.
