This exhibition in the downtown St. Catharines Mahtay Café & Lounge space is The Woodland Fae series and Selected Works by St. Catharines artist Kaylee Dambrauskas.
This is the 26th exhibition in my continuing series of platforming Niagara based visual artists.
The words of the artist : “Being an artist can mean different things to different people. For me, it is a means of escape from this world, into a place full of magic and wonder. The Woodland Fae series represents my fascination with old folklore and allows the viewer to see where I go to in my mind’s eye. I see the peace and serenity in the world that could be, and the feminine spirit that is tied to beauty.
My inspiration may not come from a specific art style or famous artist, but it comes from everything I hope to find in this world.”
