The latest exhibition at 13th Street Gallery features the work of Henry Saxe and Joseph Drapell, who have positioned themselves ‘outside’ some of the dominant art movements of the last half century. I offer a response to that assertion, as well as the works on display.
The newest exhibition at 13th Street Gallery features two established Canadian painters, in Dan Solomon and Paul Sloggett. Their works explore both the history of abstraction as well as offering a soft divergence of what abstraction is now.
