Julianna D’Intino’s Connecting Rods: A Survey of Industry in the Niagara Region, 2015 – 2022 was on display at Mahtay Café & Lounge in their main space in the Fall of 2022.
This was the first in a series of curated exhibitions of Niagara based artists, that I’ve put together to show in the downtown of St. Catharines, beginning in the Fall of 2022 and coming to a close in the Spring of 2023.
Niagara Artist Centre is celebrating the life of Nicholas Treanor, also known as ‘Papa Tee’, whose impressive and eclectic collection of art is being auctioned at this event, as a continuation of Treanor’s fervent support of NAC and the local visual arts community.
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here, as I’ve been publishing with several online publications, and curated an exhibition. This is just an update on where to read my writing, right now, and where to experience some projects I’ve been working on.
Recovery, an exhibition at 13th Street Gallery, features works by Cynthia Chapman, Geoff Farnsworth and Matt Behan: but the first two’s works engage in a dialogue that is the focus of my piece here.
